Work

The record. Not the resume.

Selected work across Amazon, Microsoft, and independent consulting engagements spanning healthcare, finance, government, and cloud-native platform delivery.

Amazon Principal Technical Program Manager, April 2022 - 2024 | Nashville, TN

I built and operated the delivery infrastructure that governed a $1.4B technology organization. The only Principal TPM in a 3,000-person org. The operating model I built governed a $70M engineering organization spanning 20 teams, 100+ engineers, 11 business domains, and 66 countries, while driving program strategy and delivery standards across the full enterprise.

I did not inherit a framework. I built every mechanism from nothing. Roadmap governance. Critical path tracking. Launch gates. The full lifecycle from idea to production across 66 countries. That operating model governed the delivery of $100M in annual automation savings. It is now the delivery blueprint for the entire organization.

Selected outcomes:

  • Drove VP-level alignment across recruiting, HR, and compensation technology orgs to define a shared product and delivery strategy for the global hiring platform
  • Established a centralized orchestration layer to govern hiring workflows across 20+ engineering teams and 66 countries, replacing fragmented, team-level processes with a unified delivery model
  • Designed and rolled out engineering frameworks that reduced complexity and eliminated 70+ redundant dashboards, creating a single source of truth for delivery tracking and executive reporting
  • Built delivery models and technical oversight mechanisms now used across Amazon HR tech as the standard for cross-org program execution
  • Managed a 100+ person global engineering organization spanning 20+ dependency teams, coordinating roadmap alignment, milestone tracking, and launch governance across all workstreams
  • Championed automation-first practices that reclaimed over 50,000 recruiter hours annually and drove $100M in annual automation savings across the $1.4B organization

Amazon Care and Amazon Pharmacy Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, April 2022 - October 2022 | Nashville, TN

As Principal TPM, I owned the entire Amazon Care technology vertical. Not a workstream. Not a slice of a program. The full vertical spanning engineering, clinical systems, and operational infrastructure across a national platform delivering virtual and in-person primary care in all 50 states.

Stepped into leadership of a 10-person TPM organization and held accountability for sequencing, tradeoffs, enterprise readiness, and delivery across one of the most complex, regulated, and high-scrutiny platforms Amazon had ever built. Amazon Care sat at the center of a multi-billion-dollar healthcare strategy with direct visibility at the highest levels of the company.

Amazon pivoted from Amazon Care to its $3.9B acquisition of One Medical. The scale of what replaced it tells you everything about the scale of what I was running.

Microsoft Corporation Client Chief Technology Officer, June 2016 - May 2020 | Nashville, TN

As Microsoft's virtual CTO and senior technology advisor to the largest for-profit healthcare enterprise in the United States, I served as the strategic bridge between Microsoft's full product portfolio and the long-term technology vision of one of the most complex health systems in the country.

I did not just sell technology. I owned the strategy, the relationships, and the outcomes, functioning simultaneously as transformation leader, architecture owner, and technical sales executive at the C-suite level.

Selected outcomes:

  • Architected the digital transformation strategy that resulted in the largest Healthcare Enterprise Agreement in Microsoft history, exceeding $268M
  • Revived a stalled 100K-seat Office 365 deployment, delivering 500% growth within 12 months for the largest public healthcare provider in the United States
  • Drove the strategic plan and resource alignment for a 260K-endpoint Windows 10 deployment across a major enterprise
  • Led executive briefings, product roadmap alignment, and C-suite advisory relationships across multiple large health systems simultaneously

Anytime Telehealth Chief Technology Officer, May 2020 - April 2022 | Nashville, TN

I walked into a telehealth platform that was cratering under load during COVID. The system was unstable, the technical debt was severe, and the infrastructure was not built for the demand it was now facing. Within sixty days, that same platform was handling 5,000% more visits than when I arrived.

Selected outcomes:

  • Scaled the platform to handle 5,000% growth in visit volume inside a 60-day window during the COVID surge
  • Re-architected core components into a serverless environment, resulting in a 90% reduction in cloud and infrastructure costs
  • Increased mobile deployment timeframes by 200% while cutting mobile development costs by 50%
  • Led the company through its first formal security assessments and remediated all critical findings
  • Delivered Anytime's integration into the Epic App Orchard
  • Decreased invalid visit rates by more than 75%

The Industries

Healthcare. Finance. Government. Background screening. Cloud-native platforms. Workforce identity.

The industries are different. The pressure inside them is not.
